If you must buy a cheap knock-off adapter make sure the voltage, amperage, and wattage are 100% correct with that of the original adapter.
If you put the wrong adapter in your computer it will likely damage or ruin it!

I have bought this adaptor two weeks back and during my use it got busted (i used for almost one week only). i can't recharge my laptop anymore and i am on a trip. it really disappoints to have such a bad quality. i found myself hopeless and handless.
i will buy the genuine DELL charger.
a recommendation: DO NOT USE 3rd PARTY CHARGERS. they can simply DISAPPOINT YOU. don't get faked by POWWER!!!!!!!!!!!

I entered to buy a dell power item. What you receive is a knock off item that seems very likely not to last. They don't tell you it is not a Dell item when ordering. I should have known by the price difference between them and Dell site. So far it works but definitely will not buy it again.
